'JEEVAN MITRA - Double Riskcover' plan is best for the persons who want to provide a big Sum Assured for the Protection of their family in case of unfortunate death during policy period. For a very low additional cost, sufficient family benefit is secured. This plan is not allowed to non earning majors.

Salient Features

Sum assured is payable if the life assured survives the selected term, while double the sum assured is paid in the event of life assured dying within the term.
Bonus is payable on the date of maturity or in the event of death, whichever is earlier.
Premium payment ceases on death or on expiry of term whichever is earlier.
Accident benefit is available with this plan.

Benefits

On Death: Double the Sum Assured with Bonus (on Basic Sum Assured) is given to the nominee of the life assured in the event of death happening within the term.
On Death during the policy term due to Accident (Where D.A.B. available): Triple the Sum Assured with Bonus (on Basic Sum Assured) is given to the nominee of the life assured in the event of death happening within the term.
On Maturity : Basic Sum Assured with Bonus is given to the life assured.

Minimum sum assured : Rs.20,000/-
Maximum sum assured : No limit
Minimum age at entry : 18 years
Maximum age at entry : 50 years
Maximum maturity age : 70 years
Minimum Term : 15 years
Maximum Term : 30 years
Standard age proof required.
Bonus calculated on basic Sum Assured.
People following hazardous occupations are not eligible.
Minimum premium must be Rs.800/- p.a.
Accident benefit can be availed of for basic policy.
